North American snow watch 2016- snow reports needed!

The time of year is upon us where the first traces of new white starts to show up at the summits of our mountains. To feed the overall preseason stoke, let's keep an eye on where has already seen first snows. I have already heard that Colorado and Washington have, anywhere else? I'd imagine some Canadian provinces and AK have probably seen some, but I don't have it confirmed. I'll update the map below as we get snow reports. Holler them out!

MAP UPDATED 10/27/16:

Figured! Colors are just randomly selected, if you want red vs blue that has some significance, you can find that over in P&HT :duck:

It's been snowing at elevation for the past few weeks here in Alberta - some of it melting during the day, some of it not melting...pretty standard for this time of year. The photo is Sunshine Village this morning.

Excellent! I have a feeling we're going to be seeing our first East Coast snow fairly soon. The temps at the top of Mt. Washington have started dipping below freezing.

Guess I got this thread started at just the right time. I feel like Idaho must have gotten something by now, it's looking pretty surrounded. Any confirmed white sighting?

Scattered snow around CO.  RMNP and Pikes Peak up high have some on the ground.  Left Copper the other day mid morning and it was low 50's and windy as hec.  Drove thru a snow shower near Leadville.  Went over Indy into Aspen where it was absolutely beautiful.  Sunny and 73 degrees.

This is about 13,800'

So that adds BC to the list, nice.

Anybody from AK? They gotta have stuff, but I only want to include confirmed reports.

There is no snow here.

It was kind of cold this morning, though.

My wife wore a wool sweater to work this morning (she's been known to wear long underwear in June, though).

I only had one month this summer that flannel sheets and down comforter weren't on the bed.

Sorry to disappoint, stepped outside of my workplace in Fairbanks, Alaska and took this picture.. by my reckoning we've still got a couple weeks till the rain turns to snow.

Anyone know any Idaho people? ID is looking pretty surrounded at this point. We're either not getting the data, or Idaho is just having the worst luck. @sibhusky, any news from the far side of the border?

@Pete No. Idaho, need a report on Idaho.
