Trip Reports - Patchskiing September 2016

Thread Starter

Instead of posting a separate TR for every patchskiing day, I'm going to put them in one thread for the month of September. I already did so here for the month of June, here for the month of July and here for the month of August. (I also plan to do this for upcoming months.) I hope that others will add to this. I also hope to provide views, creamed corn and soft-serve snow images, along with some dog stoke.

I'll post a few highlights from each day.

If you would like to see more just go to patchskiing.com

The October Patch on September 5th.

We passed four skiers hiking back out who had already skied the October Patch earlier in the day. When we arrived we met up with a couple of other friends, Britton and Dan and we took some runs with them after having a little lunch to give the snow a chance to soften up a bit.

After a couple of runs on Hidden "Glacier" we headed back to Jack's "Glacier" and Dookey67 started.

Stev and Penny follow.

After this we skied on the other side of Jack's "Glacier" and Dookey67 starts down...

...and turns above the edge...

Stev and Penny follow.
