Bootfitting in Vail Jan 2017

Hello,

I searched the forum, but I did not see much recent activity regarding recommended bootfitters in Vail.  I did see "Ski Boot Fitters", specifically Greg Hoffmann in Beaver Creek as recommended (http://www.epicski.com/a/boot-fitters-on-epicski).

We will be going on a trip in January to Vail, but we will not have a car (big group, using a shuttle).  We will be staying at Vail and skiing there primarily.  So I would prefer a fitter near Lionshead area if possible.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a boot fitter and shop in Vail village (Lionshead preferred)? My wife is looking to get a pair of boots this season.  She is a cautious intermediate skier.  I do not think she has ever had close to proper alignment in a (rental) boot before.  She has small and narrow feet.

We played a bit with boot rentals last year.  My guess is she will be happy with a Lange 22.5 RX 80 low volume or something equivalent.

Thanks for any recommendations...

There may be someone else there but probably not as good as Greg.

Greg is now in Beaver Creek, however his hand picked and trained staff is at the main Vail Sports location, just across from where the shuttle drops you off at Lionshead.

Both Chris and Jeff at the Lionshead location are top notch.

Thanks guys.  I wasn't sure if that list of bootfitters was current or the capabilities of his staff.  Best plan may be to go to Greg on day 1 and get tweaks done at the Lionshead location if necessary.  I'll contact Greg about this closer to our trip date.
