Well done, Bravo!
It appears to have succeeded. CTKook now banned. Disgraceful!
While very carefully not commenting on any recent moderation actions that may or may not have happened:
There are quite a number of people who know what they're talking about and used to be willing to take the time to share that knowledge, that don't post here any more. It's a major loss to the site, and I don't think it's entirely because of some perception that the grass is greener elsewhere.
In several of those cases, apparently including the OP, that happened after tangling with CTKook. Having done that myself, I know how frustrating it is make an argument based on real data, real sources, only to be met with unceasing, unyielding opposition consisting of "That's wrong! Because I say so, that's why." No data, no particular expertise, just opinions, repeated over, and over, and over. Once was enough for me.
But while my not posting much (and never in threads w. CTKook) has been no particular loss to the site, some of those silenced or driven off are a real loss.
