I would agree with you, but if you had any idea of how global trade and pricing works you would crap your pants.
The attitude here is "Hey they already are out, so why are you even bothering?"
Hmmm... I understand that viewpoint from your shoes, sure, before I was in this business, I thought just like you unfortunately.
Fact is, 98% of the crap you even THINK about wearing comes from China, and news flash, NO, just because they sell for "premium pricing" doesnt make it a "premium product", just go and ask real audio enthusiasts about Beats By Dr Dre, they are pretty awful BUT people see the price, they see Dr Dre and all his "boys" wearing them, and guess what? They are the hottest out right now, and guess what even further, there was already headphones out, AND there were so many, it seemed pointless huh?
Well go ask Apple and Dr. Dre, they will tell you what they think about your "theory".
Please only chime in if its to help. I came here to ask legitimate questions to skiers. No matter what these are coming to market and no matter what, yes, the money will be made. But I want to do it right, not like everyone else that brings crap to the market and throws crap at the wall to see if it will stick.
So the feedback I got was great, perhaps the market for "pro" goggles is a lot smaller than "non pro" goggles, which is great for us!
Again, look at where your gear was made and ask yourself "Self, how much did these REALLY cost to make"
