First Pair of All Mountain Skis

Thread Starter

I am looking to buy my first pair of skis this year. I live near a mountain, but not close enough to have ski shops around. I am looking for skis that are sturdy enough to last a couple of years, but not the best. I am an intermediate skier and a majority of my skiing is on wet snow. I would ideally like to spend $200 or less on skis and bindings (might be too much to ask, I don't know). Where should I look online to buy? Anny suggestions on what ski to buy?

Height: 6'4''

Weight: 200 pounds

Body Type: Athletic Build

Ski Type: Going down hill fast, quick side to side cuts, some air, but not actual jumps

All advice is welcome.

Do you already have your own boots? If not, get boots first.

See a boot fitter in your area. Preferably, one by/on the mountain you live close to if there are not really any shops in your area.
