The Automatics are slightly less Rocker.... What it comes down to I guess is edge contact of the 177 Patron vs edge contact of the 184 Pinnacles vs the edge contact of the Solomon BBR 8.9 176..
@Kulharin, you are thinking too short for this slot in the quiver. At 5.11, 175# you are more than big enough to ski the Patron in the next slot up. And if the 184 Pinnacle "almost feels a bit short" for sure you need to go up in length with a powder ski which will have a deeper rocker profile than the Pinnacles.
I'm 5.11, 185# - for sure not the 179 in the Sick Days. Way too short. 186 is what I'd ride if I owned that ski. I think that it would work great for what you describe. About the same in the Autos - 189 would be fine in the 109. If you have the Pinnacle 95, I'd look at the regular Autos (117) in a 186 length. That is a better quiver partner for the Pinnacles (especially at Revy) and the length is probably right in the bull's-eye for your size. The Auto 117 (186) is on the Clymb right now for $450 so you get a good deal.
I've never skied the Patron, but a 185 would work and the ski has a good reputation for what you are trying to achieve. 177 is probably a pass so if that is the only size I'd fall out of love with the idea.
