Best month for skiing at Banff/Mount Norquay?

Hey folks, looking for some advice. I can plan a ski trip this year basically any time over the winter. I plan on going to Mount Norquay and skiing for a few days and then maybe heading over to Sunshine. Based on a best conditions to crowd ratio when is the best time to go? Or is it just awesome all winter? Thanks

snow cover is better later in the season. late Feb on, often good skiing well into May.

More daylight and warmer as season progresses

but it's not good past mid March at Norquay which is the lessor of the "Big Three" hills.

Most going to Banff opt for a three hill pass combined with hotel includes Norquay Sunshine and Lake Louise  Recommend you plan to spend most of your time at the later two.

They are far bigger and get much better snow

also Lake Louise is a must just for the scenery if nothing else

Norquay is better suited for a half day at either end of your week or if you like a good bump workout.

^^^agreed. "Springtime in the Rockies" because it can get really cold in winter. When the cold snaps hit it is always colder and lasts longer in the Alberta Rockies vs B.C. Lake Louise has not only some of the best scenery in N.A it has some outstanding terrain. Tons of powder not so much but tons of snow making instead.

Excellent. I wanted to ski Norquay just because of the soul I felt oozing from it this summer when we visited. I think I'll just split my time between the big 3 and then settle into one later in the week. All I can do now is train, wait and drool. Thanks again.
