wSooo, I'm looking to book a trip within the next month for the last week or Jan or first week of Feb.. Was set on Whistler but as I'm narrowing down the place to stay and reading various reviews, almost every single one mentions the rain, fog and generally bad weather conditions that seem to be common there. What attracted me to Whistler is the size, I'm from NC and our largest ski area is 95 acres. I do visit Snowshoe every year and went to Telluride this January and was wanting to try somewhere different. Not on the east coast and would prefer not going back to CO (Had a blast in Telluride, just like going different places) but now I'm starting to worry about what the snow conditions could be. I know there's no way of predicting that but in the experience of some members here who've been, what's your opinion? Also, open to suggestions for a plan B in the US or Canada.
Two intermediate skiers, skied most blues comfortably in Telluride. No go on the blacks currently, only in NC!
Also, a little worried about lift lines. We don't have them here and we got spoiled in Telluride where they were non existent.
As always, any input is appreciated!!
