Abandoned Ski Areas of Wisconsin

I started a page dedicated to the lost ski hills of Wisconsin and welcome any stories, information or photos of any of these places. More histories and photos will be posted. In particular, if anyone has any stuff on Wintergreen, Englewood, Timberline, Hiawatha Hills or Sheltered Valley, it would be much appreciated.

Welcome to EpicSki!  Sometime in the fall there will be an ongoing regional thread that include WI.  You might post there after it gets going.

The Playboy/Hot Dog Mountain became Grand Geneva and is still operating.

Regarding Playboy's Lake Geneva resort, Rosemount had a contract with them to supply the on-snow employees with "Bunny Boots."  I met a former Rosemount employee who had a pair for his wife.  In pristine condition.

Thanks,
