I'm not talking about edges or bases. I'm talking about losing their flex through use (or age). I have a friend who skis pretty hard, a lot of days. He claims after a year or two his skis are "shot" having lost their rebound energy, stiffness, etc.
I've heard the same thing about vintage skis.
For a wood core ski this doesn't make sense to me. Because Wood doesn't really fatigue
