Hello All,

We will still be running the image of the month contests and users will get the badge that comes with being our featured photographer. Especially with the season wrapping up in parts of the world feel free to post pictures biking, hiking, from your vacation to wherever, etc. This contest is for great photographs, not just skiing related.

Rules:

  1. The image must be your own and take during the month of May 2016.
  2. Please submit one image per post; you can submit up to three images/posts per month.
  3. Please put a brief description of the image (where, what, when, or any other interesting details).
  4. Voters can vote for as many images as they like.

Also not a rule, but an explanation. Please vote for the images you like! At the bottom of the post there is a little thumbs up button, please click it!

It was a little firm first thing in the morning, so I took a quick break in the lounge chairs at Mid-Gad and snapped this shot while the sun softened the mountain. All in all, a phenomenal day of uncrowded skiing and fantastic windblown snow at Snowbird!

Need to protect your home from thieves but don't like dogs or geese...and maybe want to eat your protection in a pinch? Then get a guard cow:

Couple options down skier's right...  :D  You've got the wide beginner run, the slightly narrower intermediate run and the "expert's only, just point' em" run.

Great picture of the falls; been there a few times, but haven't caught it when the water level is high enough to make it look good.  Thanks for posting!

I was actually back there yesterday. Was very surprised that it look pretty much identical (since we haven't had rain forever), except the snow was gone and leaves are in the trees.
