Hi
Does the bonus day at one particular chosen resort have to be used 'consecutively'? (Immiediately after using the second day?)
Thanks in advance.

None of the MCP days need to be consecutive.  Only requirement is that the included aka "free" 2-3 days come first.  After that all other days are 50% off.  I think most, if not all, of the destinations allow you to link a credit card to the pass that you get when activating the MCP at one location.  That means direct-to-lift any day at that location.

For Alta, an email is sent noting the charge for additional days.

Taos is not currently set up to link the MCP to a credit card (which I found pretty annoying as it meant the additional days all had to be purchased separately one at a time).

I was annoyed too, since I always want to make first chair but have a lot of problems with mornings.

Early season in Aspen they would let you pay 50% off the reduced rate and save your free days for the full price period.

Interesting!  I think the bottom line is that each independent resort takes care of the details for using an MCP at that particular destination.  So does not need to be consistent between the different places.  Getting Alta/Snowbird as a combo with the MCP is another example of a unique situation.  Does make it confusing for someone trying to decide whether or not to buy the MCP.

There was discussion in the Mammoth thread about how the initial included days would work since the different ski areas that are part of the Mammoth "destination" charge different prices.  Something new for 2016-17.
