I am always hearing about people skiing 15 or more days a year and I am always left asking "How do they do that?!!".
First a little background, I am married to a non-skier, have two kids ages 3 & 1, and live in CT. I struggle to get 5 or 6 days in per year. So much so that, just to be able to be "on skis" more I built an 8ft drop-in this past winter to be able to slide rails in the backyard whenever I found a free hour or two (given the winter we had even that didn't happen too often!).
Anyone have a similar home situation and able to ski more often? How do you do it? Any trade secrets you can let me in on?
I'm hoping once the boys get older they will be just as pumped as I am to go skiing, but that is probably a few years off.
Would like to get to 10-15 days next season.
