Hey EpicSki!

We recently took out a pair of Salomon QST 99 for some testing at Stowe Mountain Resort.  Really impressed with the new QST line.  They're exceptionally playful, but still can hold an edge relatively well.  A little less aggressive than Enforcers, Bonafides, etc, but much more maneuverable and playful.  Click the image for the full review!  I've also embedded the video, and you can find the review right here on EpicSki in the article section.

Put y'er bar down!

The Salomon QST line looks like it would be the tweener skis between 'serious' skis like the Volkl, Blizzard and Nordica offerings and the playful/ easy going skis like the Rossignol 'S' skis. Would you say that is true?

Looks like a fun ski. What length did you ski and may I ask for the gentleman's weight and length?

asking for a gentleman's length is like asking a lady her age... one just doesn't do so in polite company.

Haha!

The "gentleman" in the video is 5'10" 160 lbs. and skiing on the 181cm.

Yeah that's pretty much exactly how I feel about them.  They probably lean a little more towards the playful/easy going side of things, but they're definitely more well rounded than the skis you're mentioning.
