Salomon Q 115 questions

Hi,

I had just bough 2014/2015 Salomon Q 115 in 188 (I think this is a last year model, but nothing changed except graphics).

I would try to use them as my powder ski for Tahoe area.

I have only 2 questions so far:

1. I have noticed that each of the ski where one should place the bindings labeled "L" and "R". Are these skis distinguish on left and right? They both look identical, does anyone know what these letters mean?

2. Where do you install the bindings for these skis? Recommended or +/- ?

Thank you,

Oleg

I believe the answer to the first part is found in the graphics  of the ski. Graphics are not symmetrical, and the design is only correct when the left ski is on the left, right on right. That is how it is on my Solly Q98 skis. But, you can ski them perfectly well with the pair on the wrong foot.

thank you! That is what I had thought too... but many of my skis have asymmetrical graphics (if not all) but neither actually labeled the ski. But since this is the only possible explanation, I will accept it :dunno
