Hi,

Has anyone had the chance to demo this new ski? It's being shown on Stockli's website

Interesting find, I thought you made a mistake and were referring to the Scale Delta, which is 83 mm.

Here is the Stormrider 83

http://www.stoeckli.ch/int-en/stockli-markenwelten/ski/product-line/stormrider-83

and the Scale Delta  ( also 83 )

http://www.stoeckli.ch/int-en/scale-delta-20926

The SR83 174cm is 126-83-109 with 17.2 radius

The Delta Scale Medium 177cm is 128-83-110 with 17.0 radius

From the description of the SR83, it is pitched as a Mountaineering Ski

.... "A loyal companion throughout the touring season — that is the new Stormrider 83. With our lightest double Titanal construction, it is ideally equipped for both the ascent and the descent. You'll breeze through long skin tracks in no time and dominate the most demanding descents"

I think it replaces the previous SR Vario (http://www.stoeckli.ch/int-en/produkte/ski/stormrider-vario).

Also, the full 2016-2017 catalog is here: https://issuu.com/snowfactory/docs/catalogo_st__ckli_16-17

The SR 97 looks more interesting IMO. Seems to replace the original SR 100, before that became a women's model.
