This is what I bought. I needed a narrow boot, not the Nordica N1 or N2. He showed me the 90 and the 120, but the 120 was $200 more and honestly I'm not sure if I'm a good enough skier to notice the difference. I spent about 1.5 hours there and the guy 'stuck them in the heater' and came back and had me wear them for a bit while they molded to my foot. He also put some soles in that he gave me at a big discount. Plus I got the wax tune up at the package discount. Nothing special on those discounts, but it was a combo deal.

I did have to get my bindings remounted :(  Boot size went from 28.5 to 26.5 so naturally it had to be done. All in I was at $360.

I have no reference point to know the difference between the 90s and the 120s. But considering the boots I have been using for over a decade were just flat out wrong, the 90s will be an enormous upgrade. I figure I'll give these a go for a decade or so or at least until I start making lots more money, then possibly try some 120s to see if I can notice the difference.

Great forum guys - don't know what I'd do without y'all!  Thanks!

Why not go find out? One of the best trips I ever took while living in ATX was driving out in my 4x4 to ski at Ski Apache and camping for a night in the forest there. Nobody else was camping out there. My wife's friends had a cabin, so we did stay there the rest of the time. I had rentals from a shop in Austin in the back of the truck. I even found a small hill to hike up and ski down near the campsite. And I do mean small.

Oh NOOOOO!!! They're closing today (and at 2PM), I was too late. Should have suggested that last weekend.

Anyway, hope you like the new boots!
