So some of you may have have been helping with my trip plan to Jackson Hole/Grand Targhee. You were a ton of help but that trip fell though. However, my family is using our Snowbasin pass benifits and will be headed to Sun Valley and Bridger Bowl over spring break. Im guessing we will ski two days at each resort but possily three at one of them.
Sun Valley: From what I understand, this resort is for long well pitched groomers. Is dollar mountain worth spending a day at?
Bridger Bowl: This is the resort I have the most questions about.
They seem to be famous for their Ridge terrain but that requires a beacon/probe and recomends a shovel/partner. What are some good shops to rent a pack/beacon/probe/shovel should I decide to head up there? Am I looking at around $20 a day or would I find myself spending $50 a day for that stuff.
Is the stuff of of Schlasmans even worth it this time of year? Is the snow and terrain good enough to have fun for an advanced skiier for a few days without going up Schlasmans?
I see that the terrain around Bridgers lift seems to be advanced. I cant tell by looking at a map but is hiking required to get to high traverse, lower nose, exit chute, and zits?
Anything else I should know?
