An Open Apology to all Snow Pros / Instructors

An open apology to all snow pros / instructors.....

I posted some hurtful content recently - relating to a recent certification session. While acting in a mentally unbalanced state, and not even recalling doing it - I did it. And I insulted a lot of people in the process.

I did this totally by myself - NO ONE  else had nothing to do with this at all. NONE of this was any of my business in the first place - and I had no right to say anything about this process.

This also relates to the thread I just started - the 'Rigged or Fair' one...

There is no way any of you should accept this apology. But don't blame anyone except me. There are a lot of people that will never speak to me again.....but that's the cross I'll have to bear.

No need to comment - I won't be back.

Double negative.

How about an apology to the English language?

Give the tracker a break. I, for one, never thought an apology was called for. The rigged thread was totally appropriate. The sentiments expressed there are not uncommon. It happens.

From my perspective, there's zero apology required. You didn't say anything mean about anyone. Many exam candidates experience cognitive dissonance when they fail the exam, which looks like this: "I'm a great skier, but I failed the exam. Therefore, something's wrong."

I'd say your thread was a good opportunity for people to candidly discuss how they're feeling and get some external perspective. I think it's healthy to have an occasional check-in, so long as it doesn't turn into a bitch-fest.
