Anyone using the Apex MC-3 boot?

By far, the most comfortable & warmest boot I've ever used.  Even with the most upright lean & stiffest flex, it's the boot I can wear all day with no complaints.  With a snug lace-up the heat-molded interior liner & the boa's tightened down, you've got touch for quick edge-to-edge movement. Locally, this model retails for $995.

I'm not using an Apex boot, but one of my friends is. He has a problem with his foot that the apex has essentially solved. For those of you watching at home, this boot looks like a snowboard boot that sits in a partial mini shell. My friend has had a problem with the boot "leaking" and getting wet on the inside. He was able to personally chat with the CEO during the CEO's visit to Park City this year and got a workaround for this problem and the scoop on planned improvements coming for next year (e.g. as best as I can remember - changes to reduce the toe cup, increase the bottom side grip and change the tightening strap architecture).
