Rear Binding Mount Pulled Out

Thread Starter

OK, so one or maybe two screws on my rear binding pulled out of my Blizzard Bushwackers Sunday at Owls Head in Quebec CA. Very bummed as it was around 2:00pm, and I was just getting into it. At quick glance it looks like the screw may have been too short?, or maybe no glue, I don't know, but it's done, and my question... what is the best way to fix them? Should I remount all the bindings, assuming they were all done the same way, or 'if it isn't broke, don't fix it'? I really don't want to take them back to the same place, but they have always had a good reputation. How normal is it?

Note- I didn't do anything that would have caused it, just a normal turn on some backwoods steep stuff. My son's gave way the day before, and he didn't do anything he shouldn't have, yes, same shop. Thanks guys.

I think you need to have a talk with the shop owner.

That shouldn't happen.

So.... Is it the binding? Or is it the ski? Inquiring minds want to know...

But he didn't say the ski delaminated. Be good to know the binding though to fuel all those conspiracy theories.

You need some helicoils, bummer but easy fix.
