Looking at going out west to whistler, sun valley, breck, or a anywhere.

Any groups going out?

Advanced intermediate 40 year old guy here.

Need three days of good snow and a few runs in the mountains!

Thanks if anyone is up for it.

Gord

Ontario, Canada.

Not quite sure what you are asking.  Perhaps take a look at the ongoing regional and resort threads.  For a complete list of link, look at the top of Resorts, Conditions and Travel.  For instance, there is one for Sun Valley or Colorado.

Thanks for your reply.

I will take a look at the resort threads.

I was simply looking for some ski groups that might be going West...more as a general, "hey, who's out there?"

I'll keep looking, but I also invite anyone that is also going somewhere looking for a ski buddy to contact me.

thanks again.

Okay.  I was wondering because you wrote "ski groups."  My impression is that people are going with a group are usually not looking for a ski buddy.  However, there are always solo skiers heading out in March.

Although this forum is called Getting Together and a logical place for your question, during the season when there are lots of active threads some people only read the more active forums such as General Skiing or Resorts, Travel and Conditions.  So if you have a preferred destination then creating a thread for just one place for your dates and putting it in General Skiing might be more effective.

Gotcha....I'll do that.

thanks for the advice.

I've spent all morning looking at places to go....my regular ski partner is bailing on me and I feel like a drug addict needing his ski fix....(for the record, I'm not a drug addict or user....haha).

again, thanks

Completely understand the desire to find a ski buddy.  I joined online ski forums a while back when I was starting to ski off-piste partially to see if I could find new friends for ski trips.  Definitely more fun and helps to share some of the travel costs too.

Have you looked into some ski camps? Many resorts have them but not sure if they will correspond to your dates. Great way to get better and meet people. Could lead to drinks/dinner afterwards. Extremely Canadian at Whistler, Alta has some, Grand Targhee etc etc
