Asogear's Ebay storefront shows some Rossignol Radical WC 130s in 28.5:

I think there's other sizes too.  Prices look really good.  They're in Canada, so if you're in the US you'll probably have to pay duty fees (which I believe they'll include in the shipping cost) - but the fees probably won't be all that much.

The Radical 130 shells are the same as a Lange RS 130 (of the same model year).

I have these boots and got a good fit (bought them via a local shop).  Only needed a single visit to a good fitter.  Just needed one sixth-toe punch for the right foot and off-the-shelf footbeds & I was good to go.  Everyone's feet are different though.

Not recent but essentially brand new.  Technica XT17 plugs, 28.5, 320mm BSL.  These are the 130 stiffness (the XT24s were 150s).

Never skied, never modified.  I got a good deal a few years ago and bought 2 pair, 1 to ski and 1 to use after the first pair wore out.  The first pair didn't wear out before I decided to wear touring boots all the time so the pair I'm selling is unused.  I had a Booster strap on these that I sold separately and lost the original, but I can put the strap from the other pair on these if you're interested.

$100 plus shipping.  Can't put pictures up right now because the boots are in Vermont and I'm in New Mexico.

@slope fossil

I looked on ebay few days back. Coincidentally, I looked in to the same Rossignol Radical WC 130 as you suggested, my heart jumped a little, unfortunately that is a 97mm clog, assuming the walls are not very thick.

@bjohansson

I'm not familiar with XT17 at all. I'm familiar with Inferno and R9.3, how do they compare?

I ski in a softened dobermann 150, also have a RT Ti 150. I wish they were 130s, so I could cut them down to 110ish..

I'm hoping the find the

Atomic RT Ti 130

or Rossi/Lange R2006 ZA, possibly ZB.

I'm not familiar with those boots.

The XT-17 is a no-frills plug boot.  I think it has a 98mm last.  No cant adjustment.  Narrow heel pocket (which is why I loved them).  Thin liner, thick plastic.

There was a thread on here back in the mid-2000s that discussed how to cut them down and make them softer and more progressive.  http://www.epicski.com/t/33725/tweaking-the-xt

After reading through the thread above a little bit, I remembered a little more about the boots I have.  The pair I used is the 2003 model.  The pair I didn't use is the 2004 model (different color, same boot).  Yes, these boots are old but have never been used and haven't been exposed to sunlight.  They are taking up space in my closet....

Unfortunately I need a boot that is being used in local beer league, masters, etc, so I can get advice on setup and find parts locally. I do not know anyone with Tecnica XT17. I see maybe 2 on the hill per year..

However, if you had an old RT Ti 130 or Lange RL11 I would be all over it :)

My options are limited, that why I'm posting here.

Don't let the 97mm last deter you, I love my RS130's even with my wider feet.  My boot guy made a couple punches for me and they fit like a glove.

Now if you need narrower, probably not the route to take.

So your plan is to try to set up a plug boot without going to a bootfitter?  Best of luck.

Lange RS is too wide. I would love to get my hands on Lange R2006!

I don't need much work done to get in the plug boot. 5th met head possibly in/out angle bone. I had 2 pairs set up but a very good fitter. When I moved to another boot, he ordered the tools for me from SVST and did it myself. I can make a plug boot fit like super comfy broken in hiking boot.

I need a 95mm boot max. Ideally 92/93mm. I have a few pairs of 150 dobermans and RT TIs, both nominally 95mm but the dobermann is narrower. the new dobermann mold is officially 93mm which sounds about right.

RT STi 130 Lifted would be ideal, I will never find that boot in size 28, haha
