Has anyone here used (and loved) the 2007-8 Tecnica Diablo Magma (Creamsickles)? What did you find to replace it?

Sigh...good boots are the best, but they still wear out. My daughter has a pair of these she loves- I'll have to wait 'til she's asleep to get them off her feet- but they're really shot. Tecnica's no help in trying to match these up with another model, so I'll ask;

Did you find a satisfactory replacement for your Diablo Magma's? What was it?

Thanks in advance.

The guy who owns the shop where I work part-time used to ski in those and is now using Atomic Hawx Magnas. But, has she been to a bootfitter?

I had a pair for a couple of weeks and found they skied OK in soft snow, however, they were terrible on any kind of hard snow. The boots had no support going backwards. Right away I traded them for Tecnica Diablo Race Pro which skied really well. Then on to Lange RS130 and now skiing a K2 Spyne 130 that is best boot I've ever owned.
