2017 Nordica Enforcer 93 Review - East Coast Daily Driver?

Hey EpicSki!

We recently had the chance to take out some Nordica Enforcer 93s at Stowe Mountain Resort here in Vermont.  We're pretty psyched about this ski and we think it could easily become a favorite among east coast skiers looking for a true daily driver.  Rips groomers, good off-piste, really fun to ski.  Check out the review!  We'll be adding a video down the road after we take them out a few more times.

2017 Nordica Enforcer 93 Review

Huh — don't doubt it, but I'm wondering about sizing. I ski the 100 in 177. The 93 is supposed to ski even shorter.

I'm 5'10" 150-160lbs and prefer the 185.  Just like the 100, for a ski with 2 sheets of metal they are surprisingly maneuverable in the longer lengths.

I'll have to agree, skied them a few weeks back. I'm 5'11" 195lbs. skied the 177cm. felt it skied short.

Had fun on it. It was kind of hard to give them back. I had  smile my face.

But I still love my Kendos and the Knee Bindings at bough from you guys.

Definitely one of those skis where if you think you're in between sizes, go with the longer length.

Glad you're still enjoying those Kendos!  Next time I see the Knee Binding guys (their offices are right up the road from us) I'll let them know you're still digging the bindings too.

Please do let them know.  A couple weeks back, I got on as a single and the women next to me elbows her husband and points to my feet. They both also had Knee Bindings.

Nice writeup.  Thanks!

Care to share any comparisons with the Atomic Vantage 90 CTi?

I love just about every Nordica ski I try and/or own, but I also appreciate how Atomic widens the tip and tail of their skis as they progress up the line in length, maintaining a somewhat consistent turning radius.

Honestly, I've shied away from demoing the new Enforcer(s) because they backed off the sidecut they used on the old version (and the Hell & Backs).

The Vantage 90 CTI is a little bit lighter and a little less damp.  They're both pretty quick off-piste, but feel a little different.  The Enforcer 93 felt a touch more powerful on groomers than the Vantage 90 CTI.  I'd probably say if you're an aggressive skier you'll enjoy the E93 more, but if you're cautious and aren't going to be charging too hard you might like the Vantage more.  The E93 feels a little smoother at high speeds.
