Wintergreen, VA

Spent the past few days (Sun, 2/21 to Tuesday, 2/23) at Wintergreen Resort.  The snow was soft, zero lift lines even on Sunday, and super fun conditions.  Even today, at 5pm, the sides (skiiers left and right) were still groomed on most runs.  Wintergreen blows the NC resorts away.  It's bigger, the snow is soft, and there's way more terrain.  They are going to make snow this weekend, so you midweek skiiers and riders.... get out there on Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Wintergreen is fun when there aren't liftlines.  But that's rare on weekends until after Pres. Day.  Would be more fun if there were lights on the Highlands.

Glad to hear they plan on making more snow.  Be nice if the VA season could last at least until mid-March given the late start.
