Looking for another ski choice.... - Page 2

Not a bad day. Some fresh stuff this am was defiantly a change of pace.

The skis defiantly are a upgrade from my shorter p89s. I really wish I had got them in 179s ...

I'm not sure if it's the ski or just the length but so much more control. I didn't have to slow down for too much today very responsive very stable platform. They carve pretty good and I put in a solid 5hrs today and the only thing that sucked was waiting in line for lifts today.

Lots of mixed snow today with some bare ice didn't have any issues never felt like I was not in control. My wife even asked if I was keeping the skis cause she said I was flying on em. Lol generally I'm playing catchup to her.

Pretty sure I'm gonna keep these and maybe put my powertracks up for sale. Possibly try to get the 179 or 186 powertracks as another option. Or get something else to run as an alternative.

I gota take what's available. These seem to fit the bill. I like them over the k2 I tried last week

Where do you have the bindings mounted on the P89's? If they are mounted on the factory center mount line move them back! I have the P89 with the factory fluid binding system. I have my bindings as far back as I can get them (about -2cm from the mark on the ski). Made a huge difference for the positive in how they skied. I think these skis flex pretty easy and I'm about 5'7" 160lbs. skiing them in the 172cm length. The P89's have some tip and tail rocker so they ski a little 'short'
