My first short review. Sorry, English is not my native language.
This review is about the Bogner Vision TR ski. That’s right, Bogner, the ski fashion brand also makes skis. Well, that's not exactly true. Bogner doesn’t produce the ski, INDIGO in Germany does. The MSRP in Europe is 1290 Euro which I find rather high.
The Vision TR is a twin Rocker, with a relatively soft flex and a race binding system. What you get is a very turn friendly ski. Almost like a SL-ski. After the initial turn-in it behaves like a GS-ski. The Torsion stiffness is good which makes it a very stable ski, even on higher speeds. At first I didn’t “get” the Race Binding combination. It’s basically a rebranded Marker Xcell 12. The sporty binding makes the reaction time instant provided you also have a sporty shoe (I have a Atomic Hawx flex 120)
I was wondering what the target group would be for a ski like this. Although very turn friendly definitely not for SL-ski lovers. Turn radius is too big for that. GS-ski lovers? Too easy to turn makes it too playfull I guess. That leaves guys like me who like a playfull, easy to turn ski, who is not afraid of higher speeds and love to carv the slopes early morning.
