This is a pair of 2010-2011 Volkl women's 155cm SL skis. These are Team Stock skis, which were only available to sponsored athletes. Our daughter used these for one season of racing/training in a rotation of three pairs, while in college. She decided to hold on to these as she liked how they skied, and thought she might ski them again.
They have a pair of 9MM Marker Piston Plates attached. The skis are in great shape, but our daughter took them to CO for some early season training, and the bases have light scratches on them, as well as one "ding". These skis were lightly ground just once so they could be ground again. They could also made quite nice with some good old sandpaper.
The skis have a very narrow edge, and have since they were set up. They were set up to be a fast ski on an made made surface. I don't want anybody to have the impression that they have the type of edge left that a typical race ski sold in a shop does.
The ski really well. They'd be a good ski for a girl to try this spring as a first FIS ski. They'd also be an absolute "ice skate" to ski on rock hard snow every now and then.
Note that the retail price of the Piston Plates alone was $200. I've sold them recently for almost as much as the price of the skis.
Please PM me with any questions at all. Thanks.
