Pretty damning article - I'm sure a few around here must know of them

Yes, ended up paying $15 for $5 pole baskets after they waited 2 months, then canceled the rest of my order to bring me under 'free shipping' status.  $10 to ship pole baskets between Denver suburbs.  I got off easy compared to people that actually bought high dollar gear or worse bought a membership.

They may be out of business.

I like this from their website customer service page "threats of any kind to our professional team will not be tolerated".

Yep, you really have to ask what kind of business someone is running if they feel compelled to note that anywhere on their website.

The couple seemed very nice when I met them a few years ago when their daughters were posting some fast times at local ski races. I never purchased anything from them, but this would not be the first time someone who appears to be a decent, honest person turns out to be a shady scammer.

So much for their customers getting product, it's going to their web guy.

"123Mountain and its parent company also defaulted on two cases seen in the Summit County District Court, including one fraud complaint after a South Korean customer never received more than $80,000 in sleeping bags, and outerwear manufacturer Canada Goose was never paid for an order of more than $90,000 in coats."

wow...$80,000 order of sleeping bags and they never shipped them.
