Moderation Team 2016--Welcomes and Farewells

Thread Starter

A couple days ago we posted a help wanted and asked for volunteer moderators. The results were fantastic! We appreciate the volunteer spirit of the EpicSki community. Part of the reason for the need for new moderators was that over the past few years the moderation team has lost some members and not replaced them with new members. Additionally, many of the existing moderators have served as such for close to ten years (or in some cases as many as fifteen) which is a lot of time to volunteer to help out here on EpicSki. As a result some of the 'old guard' of the moderation team was ready to retire after many years of service, which this infusion of new blood allowed. As a result we want to officially welcome our new moderators:

@dbostedo @freeski919 @lakespapa and @mikebike (we may have another one to announce soon as well).

We also want to give a hearty thank you to our two moderators who have decided to hang up their skates: @Bob Peters and @epic

Skates? Maybe you thought you were on this site : http://www.epicrollertainment.com/

Or else you've got hockey on the brain. :D

Wait! Epic is abandoning his role in Epic? Doesn't this produce a null value, or something?

Congratulations to the new folks and I'll miss Bobs measured hand at moderation but hope he will continue to add content.

Congratulations to the new moderators and thanks to those who have opted to give it up.
