An instructor went missing at Sugar Bowl, Lake Tahoe. We haven't heard yet that he has been found.

Oh crap, I hope they turn up someplace safe and just didn't tell peeps they were leaving for the day or whatever..

Unless it's another instructor (which I am sure I would have heard about) this happened over the MLK weekend.

Carson May Age 23.

Info here.

Sad info. The family held a celebration of life a couple weeks ago, in the area we believe he might have been.

I did not know him will but I did meet him a couple of times.

A search team found the body.  He went missing on Jan. 14.  Closure for the family.  RIP.

Yes it sucks..

At least now there will be some closure.

If you want to help out or if you knew Carson, there will be a memorial on April 24th.

May’s father, Mike May, said he is glad his son was found, but the discovery did not bring relief.

“There’s no such thing as closure when you lose your son,” he said. “It’s an open wound that will stay that way.”

Agree with this statement.. There were many searchers and colleagues that were in a state of unknown also. For them, it will be sad closure. For Mike Carson, and the family, we will continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
