How Late in Spring are Tahoe Areas Open?

I may have a chance for free lodging in South Lake Tahoe, but wouldn't want to go until Sun Valley closes (probably April 15 or 23).

How late are Heavenly, Squaw, Kirkwood, etc. usually open in the Spring?

Usually Northstar and Heavenly will stay open until at least April 15th or April 23rd. Kirkwood stays open to the 30th on a good year. Squaw/Alpine will be open into early May with good conditions. Its been a great year so far despite the recent warm spell. They will make firm closing day announcements much later in the year. Mammoth will have daily operations at least through Memorial Day.

Its been posted already quite some time ago. I think you should consider them firm.

Any bonus days are business related and usually would just be a saturday/Sunday opening-possibly with reduced lifts for business rather than terrain reasons.
