Demo Place in Mammoth

Can anyone recommend a good demo place in Mammoth to rent demo skis?  "Good" measured by selection, service, price, etc.

Any place I should avoid?

Thanks!

The usual suspects are Footloose and Kittredge in town, and the Mammoth Mountain shop (owned by the mountain). The Mammoth Mountain shop is at main lodge, out of the same area as regular rentals. All three have a good selection and good service. I have bought demos at the end of the season from the Mammoth Mountain shop and Kittredge. The Mammoth shop is the most handy if you intend to switch out skis during the day, as you can ski right down and switch there, and also at the shop at Canyon Lodge if I'm not mistaken. For the other two in town, you would have to drive or take the bus down in to town to switch out. Not a big deal if you only intend to demo a single pair of skis, but a major PITA otherwise.

Also, if you have an idea of what ski/size you want to demo, you may want to call ahead to see if they have or carry that ski. For instance, I was Footloose in Dec. and saw they had the Atomic Vantage CTI skis for demo. When I checked, they had just the 85 and 95 in Non CTI. I don't know the big difference between CTI and NON CTI but I think I want to demo the 85 and 90 CTI but they had neither.:(

I just rented some demos at Kittridge and the staff was amazing.
