I'm deciding on a touring/soft snow ski as part of a two ski quiver, the other half being Fischer Motive 95 TI's with Salomon STH2 WTR 13's. I'm planning to mount them with Marker Kingpin 13's to use largely for touring, with some resort/slackcountry use on soft snow/powder days. I'm currently skiing in northern Colorado, but could potentially move elsewhere in western US. The new setup will also definitely be spending some quality time in the Wasatch. I'm male, 30 years old, 5'7", and 145 lbs.
I'm shooting for the 105ish range, two contenders right now being 177 K2 Pinnacle 105 (good price on Telemark-Pyrenees right now) and 174 Salomon Q-105 (great prices for 2015 colors!). I definitely want something maneuverable enough for trees and tight spots, and am open to any and all suggestions.
