NorCal Super Bowl Sunday - a good time to go for empty slopes - or not?

I live in the Bay Area and not at all interested in Super Bowl this year. Just got some new skis and want to try them out, so I'd really appreciate any other opinions about this - from prior experience, are Super Bowl Sundays usually more/less or just as crowded vs. other mid winter Sundays in Nor Cal?

Since it will only be a one day trip, we're considering Dodge Ridge, Bear Valley and Sugar Bowl for shortest trip to slopes

TIA ,

It is usually less crowded. Especially after around noon when people make their way to go see the game.

I've skied some on SuperBowl Sunday before. Even here out east where the game doesn't start until later usually the slopes are less crowded because most folks are either shopping for or preparing their smorgasbords of snack food and cleaning houses in preparation of guest arrivals.
