Binding placement observation

OK. Three skis. Two are mine and the pretty one is Mrs5150's Her's a 162 CM is a Rossi.Mine are both 165s and are from the same company. Dynastar. Both skis were correctly set up by the very reputable outfit. Starthaus. Picture #1 indicates where the center of boot line is on each ski. Why the three CM difference? I feel a bit too forward on the 85mm (white) skis. Sure they turn more easily, but they do not feel as stable as the 94mm (brown) skis. Been thinking about a more rearward remount on the 85s.

The history why I have an 85 and a 94mm in the same model is long story. I like both skis, but just wonder if a remount on the 85s is a good idea.

You might check with Starthaus and see if they have a Dynastar shop manual that specifies the mounting specs of those skis--how far the boot center should be from the tip or tail--assuming they still make the ski or Starthaus has an old manual. It might be that the top sheets are off--I've heard of such a thing but no personal experience.
