Vail and groceries?

Flying into Denver, and driving out 70 for a 5-night stay in Vail.  Should we stop for groceries in, say, Frisco, or are prices reasonably sane at the grocery store in Vail?  (never been)

Stop in Frisco.  Price and selection will be better.  Safeway is right next to i70.

There is also a wholepaycheck in frisco if that is your flavor of grocery store.

Thanks.

Forgot to add next to the wholepaycheck there is a liqour store with a good wine/craft beer/bourbon selection as well.

In the same shopping center as the safeway/walmart there is another liqour store with a more 'abundant' beer selection, normal liqour, decent wine selection.

All are right off 70 as mentioned above.

Isn't there a Safeway across the freeway from Vail? I doubt they jack their prices up.

Another choice is the City Market in Dillon.  First exit after the tunnel.  Also easy on and off I70.

Yes and a City Market - if you are in Lionshead just go back up the frontage road on the ski hill side - easy and do it every time.
