Skied Silver today, About 0930 started raining lightly and snowing about half way up. Visibility was terrible. Skied 2 hours and hit Sams for coffee, breakfast and dry out. Limited grooming on Wed, never went to 4 snow was sticky but fast a little stiff. Basically pretty ugly.
No idea Mike never went over to 4 almost zero visibility so skied 2 and 3. Think there might have been 8 people on the Mt. today. Snow sucked too so only skied for 2 hours and went home soaked.
Are you home yet ?

Oh man, these yo-yoing freezing levels are killing me. Is this the new norm? I know it must be raining on top of the mountain today and I was planning on a day trip tomorrow, but after Pete's report I'm having second thoughts.
It would be interesting if they groomed Shaft, I can't remember anything below midway being groomed.
Not yet, working hard at St Lukes.
I've never heard them grooming Shaft but it does have the winch pole, right? I bet it would ski like a dream groomed with some pow on top!! Get some for me!
I've never seen them groom either but would be cool. May be going tommorrow if I go to Silver will go over and take a look. Lower 4 had to have got hit pretty hard by rain but will go give it a peek. Rained at Silver today and snowed at Lookout so may go there. After skiing Silver yesterday it is going to take 6 in. to start the healing off piste.
