Moisture in between shell and liner

Thread Starter

I have noticed that my new boots gather a lot of moisture between the shell and the liner (I am sure my old boots did as well, but these shells are translucent). I have dry guy boot dryers, but they don't seem to do much for the moisture outside the liner. Are there any tips for drying the moisture? After a 3 day trip I took the liners out, but they were not easy to remove and my boot fitter suggested that I do not take them out too often. Should I leave the boots unbuckled for a day or so to let some air get in there?

yes,  best to dry it all out.   All boot "leak" just you can see it with a clear shell

removing the liners after the trip is great idea, and air dry overnight.

store them in a dry area, without huge temp changes
