Injured and want to ski

Im traveling w a family to the canyons resort area over the February break. Unfortunately my friends son fractured his ankle and is wearing a cast and is beside himself and extremely upset that he will not be able to join us skiing. I thought that there are special services for special needs and/or other circumstances that could possibly customize A portion of the day with an instructor guide in one of those special needs sleds. I'm not minimizing the special-needs people or their ability to not ski but I saw something where they could take out grandparents as well. I just didn't know where to initiate that request. Thank you.

Have a wonderful day.

Welcome to EpicSki!  Might help to know how old your friend's son is (teen, tween, younger)?  What is his ski ability level?

Paging @TheRusty , @T-Square for suggestions for this Family thread.  They are instructors.

How long post injury?  I assume the injury is well protected by a cast.  It is possible to ski on one ski.  Just say'n.

He definitely cant ski on one ski but I wanted to get a guide and a handicap sled and have him taken around for an hour or two just to experience the beauty of the mountain.

Park City (now Canyons) has the National Ability Center there.  I don't know if they are the right place, but maybe check with them.

He can probably do the zip line or a sleigh ride. After that I'm not sure.
