K2 Spyne 130's LV - boot ramp angle and forward lean and boot quality.

I had an opportunity to pick up a pair of K2 Spyne 130 LV 2013-2014 model never skied for $200.00. I liked the way the boot put my stance in a neutral position and fit really well out of the box. I also liked the intuition liner.

What I didn't like was the chinsy power strap, and flimsy aluminum buckles, and the toe and heel plate looked difficult to cant. I understand that K2 changed the color the following year and replaced the model red model with green one.

Can anyone on this forum comment on:

1) The quality of the boot - do the buckles and power straps last more than a season?

2) how easy was it to fit the boot to customers, any customer complaints?

3) is it easy to plane the boot and cant it?

4) 2013-2014 model year quality vs 2014-2015, 2015-2016 any improvements?

P.S I almost bought the boot just for the liner, but I have too many boots as it is..

1)    fine,  no better or worse then any other brand.  nice they come off with 2.5mm allen keys

2)  fine,  no better or worse then any other brand

3)  haven't tried, but with the removeable sole, I can't think it would be easy to do.

4)  same boot, different colors.
