2016 Rossignol Slat Review

We had a chance to take a closer look at the Rossignol Slat recently.  Definitely a ski that's targeted towards skiers with freestyle/freeride backgrounds, but it's a super fun all mountain ski.

2016 Rossignol Slat Review

Has anyone else on here ever skied the Slat?  I don't think it gets the attention it deserves.  Kind of like a Nordica Soul Rider, but a little damper.

These skis have been on my radar for a couple of months. I don't really need them, I have a similar ski in the sickle .

I like the style of these over the sin7 and soul 7, I think Rossignol worries to much about hard snow performance with the sin and soul, where as there twin tips are more slippery in soft snow yet feel more sturdy at the same time, it really is kind of strange.

Unfortunately with the drought the last few years I have to replace my frontside ripper first.

And if I do get them  I will definitely be getting the 2015 version, the 16's might very well be the most unattractive ski Rossi has ever made!

I agree they do feel more sturdy on hard snow than the Sin and the Soul.  I think that's a big part of the reason why I like them so much.

Funny how everyone has their preferences in graphics... I personally think the 2016 looks awesome.  It also matches my outerwear, which as we all know is extremely important.  :rotflmao:
