Blizzard all mountain ski right for me??

Hey all,

Ive been skiing for the past 8 years or so, use to be a park rat but had a change in heart when i realized there is value in my life. Still on my rossy s4 jibs center mounted 3 years later. I easily adapt, I'm what i would consider very athletic. I am 5'11" and 130lbs and haven't budged more than 2 or 3 pounds in the last 5 years. I am skiing all east coast US and enjoy moguls, glades, steep, carving (still have that thrill seeking nature in me). I have still yet to find slopes that really exhilarate me out here and can't afford to go out west anytime soon (in college). We are taking a trip to Killington here in a few months which will be fun.

I bought my girlfriend, now wife, a pair of blizzard black pearls a few years back and i really like how they have treated her. I have been looking at the bonafides and the brahmas. I have access to a pair of used bushwacker 173 and also some magnum 8.0 CA... thoughts on these options?

Ideally I will take my marker griffon bindings and put them on a pair of last years used blizzards or something of the sort. Need some direction, anyone willing to chime in??? (reminder, I'm in college and married, aka not a lot of cash to be blowing on skis).

Thanks,

Jordan

I'm on the west coast and I'm 5'8" 150 upper int/adv.

I have both the 172 Magnum 8.0 CA and the 173 Bushwacker.

Now, I've only been on about 10 skis in the past 3 years and I only can remember a few

1. Kastle LX 82 (172 - I think)

2. Dynastar Sultan 85 (172 - I think)

and a few others but without a doubt

the Magnum 8.0 CA is/was my favorite and the Bushwacker my second favorite ski I've ever been on. I use the Magnum for my hardpack days and the BW for the "slightly" off-piste days.

Wow, 5'11" only 130lbs...

IMO 173cm is to long.

check out http://www.skiessentials.com/ you can find leftover skis brand new for less $$
