Elan Skis Questions - For heavier guy.

Hello, new here but I've been reading a lot of threads this week.

I'm 5'10", 220lbs and have been skiing for a few years.  I consider myself an intermediate but do like to go fast and can handle some black diamonds.  I'm stationed in Italy but stick with groomed trails 80% of the time and 20% off-piste in when the snow is nice.

I have some older Kastle skis in 171 length, I believe 78cm width. When I get going fast my ski's scare me a bit and seem to want to lose control.  Also towards the end of the day when the runs are chopped up my downhill ski always seems to get choppy on me.

I'm not sure if this is technique or I'm just too heavy for my skis.  I'm looking for a "cheap" upgrade, preferably under $400 with bindings.

How would these Elan skis do?

or maybe the Blizzard Magnum 8.5 TI ski's.

Anything else that you think fits this price range?

Thanks for any inputs you have.

Ok, I actually have these ski's:  http://www.skitest.net/en-ski-rx_national_team_rc-469.shtml   So 66cm width, I was a bit off.

Looking for an upgrade from those as they are getting worn and a ski shop wouldn't even wax them for me this weekend.
