Old Wax

I have 4 skis, one of which is only for deep powder.  The wax, although still looks good, haven't been skied on for 2 years.  Is this an issue or not?

Not having your powder planks out in two years is most certainly an issue. Very serious.

Wax? Whatever... :)

They probably gathered dust into the wax. If you do your own waxing, I'd brush and rewax. But I wouldn't pay to have it done. But then that's why I do my own.

Wax dries up after a long time.  2 years is a long time.  Use some wax remover or Swix Glide Wax Cleaner and get to work waxing.

I think I'll just wait till I need them then brush the base.  If it doesn't work well that day I'll know for the future.
