I have been reading alot about below treeline backcountry skiing on Bald Mountain in summit county CO and how it is a great place for beginners to start and it is a very low avalanche risk.  With that, I was wondering if anyone had anything to offer towards that?  Is it legit?  Good place to start? Fun but mellow pitch?  Honestly anything we can get to get out there is awesome.  We can handle ourselves on the way down just want to make sure we are doing the right things in the backcountry to learn.  Also, anyone want to let us tag along with them somewhere in the back country?  We would be willing to buy you dinner after our day?  We will be staying in Breckenridge Feb 5-13 and will have touring set ups with us.  Want to get some BC in, but we have not done it yet.

Do you reccomend somewhere else?
