Hey,

I know most of you are fans of fixed base edge bevel guides, but was wondering if anyone has used this tool or it's Toko equivelent?

I don't know about the tools--but if you aren't aware, leave the base edges alone once the bases have been flattened and the base edges beveled (except for getting rid of impact and sharpening burrs). Otherwise you'll wind up with edges that won't bite.

I have the FK SKS multi tuner and I'm happy with the results for quick tune-ups.

THAT ^^^

All I do is slide the steel 1* base bevel guide with a 100 grit moonflex or swiss fine file down to knock off any high spots before waxing.
