What purpose or good to ask questions and have discussion/debate if there are not different views? Without them there is no point to any of it because we'd all just agree.
No, its not a win/win whether we get it or not. Its not just that simple. In some views there is more to it than just saying shorter means faster. I could (as an exaggeration) place you in a line with only 3 groups ahead of you and than pull from every where else for the next 20 minutes. Was shorter faster there? No....because its wasnt just that simple.
Of course that's exaggerated but If you read the whole thread there are many reasons and scenarios given as to why some feel things are not just that simple. You may in the end still feel its better but its certainly not just that simple. There is much more to it than just saying shorter means faster as some end all be all.
Well, I was mostly playing off what you wrote before me. But yeah, while I appreciate alternative viewpoints, I don't so much appreciate when a tiny minority hijacks the conversation completely. A whopping 12 percent of poll participants agree with you and I truly believe you've changed zero minds in all your posts, but you keep going and going.
Your examples are getting pretty weak, too - if there are only three groups ahead of you, you're not really in much of a line to begin with. You'll be on the lift in a matter of minutes no matter what happens with singles v groups. Outside of strange, exaggerated outlying examples, singles lines will help more than they hurt pretty much always.
Epic ski largely agrees that you're wrong. The resort industry thinks you're wrong. Maybe you're just wrong?
